RANDWICK APARTMENT - SYDNEY

This small apartment refurbishment was designed with the idea to maximize the internal space and also create a relaxing minimalist environment with plenty of storage.

The kitchen was integrated as part of the living/dining room with full height cupboards incorporated along the access hallway where the laundry, electrical, and hot water system are located and integrated behind polyurethane full height wall panels.

Another difficulty was the requirement to allow for a small office workspace in such compact area without reducing the overall visual perception. To achieve this condition, a freestanding frosted glass screen was placed on one side of the living area with a desk and shelving behind, becoming a decorative element in the space.

Special attention was given to the finishes and materials where a palette of soft white colours were present on walls, ceilings, cupboards, surfaces and floors. The result was a serene and inviting ambient full of light orientated to a beautiful forest.
